Well it seems like we have left our regular readers hanging for some time now. Back in March, we wrote a blog post about the anticipation over the soon-to-be-debuted Hyundai Equus. Well last month at the New York International Auto Show, the curtain was dropped and we got to see it all. Needless to say we were impressed.

The luxury market better watch out because Hyundai isn't playing around with the new 2014 Equus. The exterior is has been updated with a new front bumper and grille, as well as LED lights and new mirrors. The design is more refined and sophisticated, which will hopefully appeal to more discerning Hyundai Equus fans in the Concord area.

Peek inside the cabin, and you will find high-end features like: a gorgeous new instrument panel, leather-wrapped steering wheel, eye-appealing gauge cluster and luxurious wood trim throughout the cabin. There is a 9.2-inch touch-screen set in the dash as well as a smaller touchscreen mixed in with the gauges (standard). If drivers decide to opt for the Ultimate Package those screen sizes will grow and more get added to the back seats as well.

Under the hood, the 2014 Equus will be packing a large 5.0-liter Tau V-8 engine, ready to deliver a hefty 429 horsepower.

Like we said, the luxury segment needs to watch its back. We still are not absolutely sure when the new Equus will join our inventory here at Future Hyundai of Concord, but we will be sure to let you know as soon as the first truckload arrives. In the mean time you can come explore all the great new and used Hyundai models we have in stock when you visit our showroom located at 1051 Burnett Ave Concord, CA 94520.
