For those out there who are into anything from anime, to sci-fi, to fantasy, to comic books; this is a special time of the year. Of course we are referring to the annual Comic-Con convention where enthusiasts with nerdy hobbies flock to a large convention center to meet celebrities, check out new products and meet other fans. This year was special because Hyundai was in attendance supporting the AMC TV show The Walking Dead.
For those that don't know, The Walking Dead is a show that takes place during post-zombie-apocalypse and a small group of humans still trying to survive. At last year's Comic-con Hyundai outfitted a special Elantra Coupe with gadgets and gear that would be perfect for surviving an onslaught of zombies. This year the Hyundai team went back, but this time they retrofitted a gorgeous Hyundai Veloster Turbo to become the ultimate zombie killing machine.
After first giving it a unique paint job to make the car look like It has seen some serious zombie battles, the designers of the Veloster Turbo Zombie Survival Machine added more weapons than most people would know what to do with. The short list includes: chainsaws on the front bumper, machine guns mounted on the hood, barbed wire over the windows, a samurai sword, a PA system, flood lights and a spiked bat.
Even though this Zombie Survival Machine won't be coming to dealerships like Future Hyundai of Concord any time soon, you can get your hands on a Hyundai Veloster Turbo.
