Every year, the automotive reviewers at Strategic Vision publish a list of what they consider to be the highest quality new vehicles to be on the market that year. Coined the "Total Quality Index"; every car on earth gets ranked by segment from best in overall quality to worst. Just last month Strategic Vision released the 2013 index, and we are very happy to say that the 2013 Hyundai Genesis was named as the highest quality car in the near-luxury segment.

Strategic Vision uses thousands of consumer reviews as a starting point for their own survey, and this year over 17,500 consumers were polled for their opinions on the different aspects of owning 2013 model year vehicles. Interestingly enough, the Hyundai Genesis beat out other luxury brands like, Volvo, Acura, Caddy, and Lexus for the top spot in its category.

Mike O'Brien, vice president of Product and Corporate Planning for Hyundai Motor America, commented, "Receiving a 2013 Strategic Vision Total Quality Index award is recognition of our commitment of quality and customer satisfaction. We strive to give our customers the highest-quality products, delivered in a package which is both exciting and engaging to drive."1
