Every year the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show takes place in Las Vegas. This event provides automakers with yet another opportunity to show off their latest and greatest achievements when it comes to technology and new products. This year we have heard that Hyundai is coming at the Show with full-force and will debuting a very special new Genesis Coupe model.
If you were to walk through the doors of the Future Hyundai of Concord showroom right now to look at the Genesis Coupe, we would offer you a couple of drivetrain options. The more powerful one consists of a 3.8-liter V6 engine that has the potential to generate up to 348 horsepower. Now thanks to some engineers from Bisimoto Engineering, the Hyundai Genesis has been specially tuned to generate some outrageous power.
The 3.8-liter Genesis engine didn't stand a chance once the technicians at Bisimoto Engineering got their hands on it. They took the original engine and modified it to include steel connecting rods, custom headwork, level 2.4 camshafts, a Godzilla blow-off valve, and much much more. Now they are claiming that this drivetrain can churn out an absolutely amazing 1,000 horsepower.
We could hardly believe this news when we first heard it but the story checks out. We will just have to wait for SEMA to roll around in a few months and see this outrageous engine for ourselves. To learn more about Hyundai performance or to get a feel for the true power that comes from driving a new Hyundai model, just stop by our showroom located at 1051 Burnett Ave Concord, CA. We hope to see you soon.
