The automotive news gauntlet is alight with Hyundai news as of late. On the one hand, they're launching their first-ever luxury brand--Genesis--later this month, and will unveil its new flagship sedan. More recently, we've learned that the 2012 Ioniq Concept is entering production as the automaker's first hybrid.
The visual preview of the car--which can be found in silhouette in the video below--is quite a bit different from others on the market. To our eyes, it looks pretty upscale, and that's no accident. Hyundai states that the Ioniq will boast a hybrid, PHEV, and EV iterations, with an emphasis on sporty driving dynamics that the segment is otherwise lacking.
