Last week, the 2016 Hyundai Tucson was named the “Best Compact Crossover” SUV by Ruedas ESPN. The award was presented last week at the 45th annual Miami International Auto Show, and it marks the fifth year in a row that a new Hyundai model was recognized by the leading Spanish-language automotive radio show in the United States. This year marked the 13th annual Ruedas ESPN awards, which had an executive committee that generated the nominations. A panel of industry experts selected the winners of the twelve basic categories in addition to the top prize of “Ruedas ESPN Car of the Year.” Ruedas ESPN is broadcast live on ESPN Deportes Radio and can be heard on more than 48 radio stations in the United States and Puerto Rico as well as SIRIUS. Each Sunday morning, a trio of hosts hold a radio show where they share their passion for cars and engineering, and motorsports. Jaime Florez, Ruedas ESPN director and host, had this to say:
