The Motorist Choice Awards combines analysis from AutoPacific’s new vehicle satisfaction survey with IntelliChoice.com’s proprietary cost-of-ownership data to determine each automotive segment’s winner. The firms use this information to determine the winner of 23 different segments. This methodology provides best-in-class vehicles that align consumer shopping patterns with probability for both satisfaction and value. Mike O’Brien, vice president of corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America (HMA), had this to say about its two segment winners:
