Announced about a year ago, the all-new 2017 Hyundai IONIQ was finally unveiled to American audiences at the 2016 New York International Auto Show, and this alternative-fuel vehicle did not disappoint. The Hyundai IONIQ marks the world’s first vehicle to be offered in three different electric options, signaling a commitment from Hyundai to keeping up with changing trends in the automotive market, as well as setting them.

The 2017 Hyundai IONIQ will be offered in three versions:

  1. IONIQ All-Electric: Never uses gas, charges completely from home or work; arriving this fall.
  2. IONIQ Hybrid: Electric power complements to gas engine to get your father on one gallon; arriving this winter.
  3. IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid: Choose between electric or gas power options, you decide; arriving next summer.
