It features state-of-the-art connectivity features such as Bluetooth phone and audio, infotainment systems that feature smartphone app integration, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless cell phone charging, and a crisp and clean touchscreen interface. Advanced safety features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and smart cruise control. Regardless of which model you choose, the powertrains have been developed for high-energy efficiency without compromising driving performance. The Ioniq Hybrid and Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid both get a new Kappa 1.6 direct-injected four-cylinder engine that delivers an estimated 104 horsepower and 109 pound-foot of torque. It comes paired to an electric motor that delivers an estimated 32kW/43 horsepower with an estimated 126 pound-foot of torque. The Ioniq Plug-In is paired to an 8.9 kWh lithium-ion polymer batter that gets an estimated 45kW/60 horsepower. The Ioniq Electric is powered by a 28 kWh lithium-ion polymer batter that has an estimated range of 110 miles.
