Yesterday, Hyundai electrified the automotive industry by unveiling the first official rendering of the Ioniq, the automaker's first production hybrid. Over the last several years, they've put a lot of time into making this car stand out from the ever growing pack of hybrid and electric models.
One of the cornerstones of the Ioniq will be its driving experience. Unlike other models of its ilk, Hyundai wants drivers to enjoy driving it, in addition to the benefits of its gas mileage. That's also why the automaker is giving drivers a choice of what kind of electric vehicle they want: hybrid, PHEV, or EV.
The Ioniq will be officially debuted in South Korea shortly, followed by a global debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
