Earlier today, Hyundai reported that the experts at Parents magazine and Edmunds.com have selected the 2016 Tucson of their annual list of 10 Best Family Cars. The list aims to highlight the best choices for families based on a variety of factors, including ride quality, safety, comfort and capacity, fuel efficiency; kid-friendly features, price and value, and reliability.
Editors highly regarded Tucson's legroom, automatic swing-up tailgate, two-stage reclining seats, and safety features. Achieving high marks for crashworthiness, and offering a full suite of safety and driver assistance technologies, the 2016 Tucson is an IIHS Top Safety Pick+
“We understand parents look for vehicles that provide the top safety for their families and we took that seriously with the redesigned Tucson,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “This recognition from Parents Magazine and Edmunds.com shows we are committed to providing better vehicles for our owners – through better safety, quality and design features that set us apart.”
