Earlier this week, Hyundai Motor America (HMA) announced that for the seventh year in a row, the Hyundai brand was ranked No. 1 in the automotive category of the Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Index. Brand Keys is a customer loyalty and engagement consultancy firm that publishes an annual study that examines customers’ relationships with 635 brands in 72 different categories. Almost 43,000 respondents answered assessments in the categories in which they were consumers. They answered questions regarding brand loyalty and customer engagement, which then determines which brands earn the most customer loyalty. Robert Passikoff, founder and president of Brand Keys, had this to say about the Hyundai brand:
