Hyundai has some notable updates to two of its most popular vehicles. On the SUV side, the three-row Palisade is entering the second model year of its first generation with an impressive new top trim level. On the sedan side, the popular selling Elantra has been completely re-redesigned. Here is a look at each update from our dealership near Walnut Creek.

New Updates for the Palisade

Since its debut last year, the Hyundai Palisade has won accolades thanks to its impressive style and incredible value. For the new model year, the Palisade adds a new top trim level. Known as the Calligraphy edition, this new top trim gets a special grille design, 20-inch alloy wheels, exclusive exterior lighting, and quilted interior door panels. It's sure to turn heads around Concord, CA.

Complete Redesigned Elantra

The Elantra has been completely redesigned inside and out. Starting with the exterior, the biggest story here is the dramatic LED lights that carry up the sides of the vehicle to create a completely unique look around Berkeley. The Elantra also gets sharper and more dramatic exterior lines.

New Interior Design

On the interior, the Elantra goes for a more minimalist look with a single LED strip that spans the dashboard along with the air vents. Also, passenger space is expected to be expanded from the previous model year. When it comes to cabin tech, the Elantra gets a new standard eight-inch center display with an available 10.3-inch display available on higher trim levels.

Elantra Driver Assist Features

Driver-assist is a big deal in vehicles these days around Richmond, CA. That's why the Elantra is offering many new driver-assist features such as the following:

  • Automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
  • Lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist
  • Available adaptive cruise control with lane-centering

New Hybrid Model Coming For the Elantra

For the first time in its model history, the Elantra will offer a hybrid version of the vehicle. The Elantra Hybrid is expected to get up to 50 miles per gallon.
