My spouse and I bought a new car from this dealership in 2018. When we purchased the car, we were also sold a 5 year maintenance plan that would cover all of the services for those 5 years from major routine service down to simple oil changes. The first time we went to get a service done they instead of using the service plan we had and were paying for, they charged us over $300. We confronted them and they said they would have finance correct it. The service department is claiming that because the original people that worked there when it happen are no longer there, it's not their problem. There are lots of dealers in the Bay Area so there is really no reason at all to deal with this one. For a large purchase it's worth it to go a little further to get an infinitely better experience. The "closer" was completely dismissive of my wife, wouldn't even shake her hand or look her way even though the car was for her. We walked out and that should have been the end of it. Unfortunately for us, we felt bad for the salesperson and decided to let them try again. They finally got the car we wanted and after pulling teeth I thought we finally agreed on a sale price before rebates (ex. 30,000). At the time, there was only a $500 rebate available (net price 29,500). We come in and buy the car a few days later. After getting home I look over the paperwork and I realize that the dealer found an additional $750 rebate that no one mentioned or gave me credit for. The sale price changed to $30,750 with the same net price of $29,500 but now the dealer pockets $750 more and I pay sales tax on that $750. Thanks... I'm still dumbfounded at how long it took to actually get through the paperwork. I already had my financing in place elsewhere and had a check in hand. Three hours later we finally were able to leave the dealership. Everyone moves likes snails at this place and could care less. There was literally no one else in the dealership buying cars but us. At least we were able to sit in "lounge" and eat 3 day old popcorn while watching the employees go in and out of the disgusting bathrooms without washing their hands since there was no soap or paper towels.

If you want communication with the service department, think again! When you come in for a VERY SPECIFIC fix and you get the car home to find out they did something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Then you get the run around and a TON of excuses as to why you got what you have. If they had just explained from the beginning that this is your problem and that we would like to do this (move something) because it is the standard. I might have been OK with that. I was very pleased with the financing aspect of the transaction. Dealing with salesmen is never a picnic but he was nice and courteous which made the process not too overbearing. After reading about the Ioniq in the financial news, I spent 2 months learning all about the car (and the Prius) before stepping out to purchase one. Needless to say, the Ioniq was new and many of the dealerships didn't really know much, but I fully expected this. What I did find is that many of the dealerships were using the launch as an opportunity to mark up the price of the car using inflated MSRP numbers and charging for add-ons that clearly were not added at the dealership. I saw MSRP numbers for base models differing as much as $3000 between dealers that were 10-15 miles away. The car I wanted was the SEL with the Tech Package, was a a rare early in the launch, and while I was willing to pay MSRP, I kept noticing that MSRP between dealerships was very different dealer to dealer. Two dealerships had MSRP's that were aligned with Hyundai's Website, and Future was one of them. The sales manager asked what it was that I wanted on the car (color, package, etc) and said he would call me when he had it. 24 hours later he found the car, and the next day I sat down to a completely honest and hassle-free transaction. The finance guy was as straight as they came, which was refreshing after 30 years of buying cars and dreading that portion. The entire process from the moment I walked in that last morning took about 1.5 hours. This is the way a business should operate.

I only buy a Hyundai from one salesperson (name in space below) because I totally trust that she will get what I want, when I want it, at the lowest possible price. I've taken two family members to her and they both bought cars. It's hassle-free, worry-free to always deal with the same honest, caring salesperson each time I or someone I know wants a car.

Two of my friends bought Hyundai's from Chongee Will and were very pleased with her, so I took one of them with me to look at cars. Chongee welcomed us like old friends. Very professional and attentive. Sent me all the info I requested on leasing as I was considering that option. She located the exact car that I wanted and I love it! She sat with me the day I picked it up and went over all the navigation system etc. Only negative was the financing part. Printer wouldn't work and after several tries he had to find another printer. Got an email from Chongee the week I bought the car that there was a recall on some of the software that the original dealer did not install. Brought it in to the service department and staff there was great too, especially Maribell. Very happy with everyone I have met so far!

He understood what my wife and I were looking for and only showed us vehicles which met our criteria. We test drove a sonata about a month prior to our purchase and Allen kept in touch without being pushy or annoying. When I called to tell him that we were ready he informed me that he had a great vehicle which checked all of our boxes and more while staying in our price range. we worked with Buck for a month while deciding what car we wanted and the right price. we were in esgrow for our house and could not touch our credit for a few weeks, and not once did Buck put us off or treat us like we werent going to buy a car from him. When I bought my Tucson, on August 18th, it only came with one key. I picked up the second key on August 29th to be programmed. Maribelle, Chris, Al? and Rocky, were all VERY nice and professional! It was a good first experience in the service department.
